Some of my first truly, truly nice pants were from Panta. I bought them when Ed just started the company and sold only to StyleForum members. There used to be crazy rushes for them – like guys sitting at their computers, refreshing their browsers, and then jumping in like mad dogs as soon as new offerings were announced. For good reason too. The cuts and fabrics were just that good.
Unfortunately, Ed switched factories a few years ago, so while the quality went up, so did the prices. The upside? He’s having a Father’s Day sale that puts them back around what they were in the old days. Take 20% off all pants and ties with the code FATHER. I particularly like the grey trousers made from what he calls his “signature salt and pepper wool.” It’s available here and here.
