NYT: A Clothing Clearance Where More Than Just The Prices Have Been Slashed

The Times is reporting that both Wal-Mart and H&M in New York are destroying and discarding unsold clothes, rather than donate them to charity.  Unbelievable.  The Salvation Army sells clothes by the bale to merchants who re-sell them in the third world…. H&M can’t even get that together?

Update: H&M says they’ll stop immediately in this store, and make sure no other stores are doing it.
