Spring is around the corner, and before you know it, we’ll be trading our tweeds and wools for cottons and linens. Our sponsors are just starting to get their new seasonal items in, so we thought we’d briefly mention them while we thank them for their support.

Next, The Hanger Project just released a new garment hanger, which allows you to hang both your jacket and trousers on the same device (rather than having to buy two separate pieces). The coat hanger comes with flared out shoulders to better support your jackets, while the clamping trouser-hanger creates a “soft press” as the weight of your pants pulls out the wrinkles. 

Chipp’s best selling items aren’t seasonal, although they can be worn with warm-weather suits and sport coats. Their grenadine neckties are made in NYC from the same Italian silks used by top-end producers, but cost about a third of the price. The advantage of grenadines is that they can be paired with solid colored or patterned sport coats without much thought. They add texture to the first, while helping tone down the second. 

Gustin has some crowdsourcing campaigns going on right now for madras-colored plaid shirts, three-quarter sleeved baseball tees, and pigment dyed t-shirts (where the t-shirt is colored with ground pigment, giving it a slightly faded and worn-in look). Everything is made in the USA, but sold at near-wholesale prices. 

Finally, shoutout to Proper Cloth and Private White VC for their support. Proper Cloth just released a bunch of limited-edition fabrics from Canclini, a famed Italian mill that’s produced for Zegna and Armani. Meanwhile, Private White VC is slowly starting to drop their spring collection. Included are a bunch of lightweight Ventile jackets, which are breathable during the dry days, but also water-resistant when it’s wet.
