Good news for readers in Southern California. Gentlemen’s Footwear just opened their first brick & mortar store in San Diego. They’re located near the city’s historic Gaslamp District, at 722 11th Avenue (on the corner of 11th and G). You can stop by and check out the shop’s handsome selection of footwear from Edward Green, Carmina, and Herring, as well as neckties from Drake’s and EG Cappelli. The nice thing about their selection is that there’s something great at every price point. Edward Greens are on the expensive side, with prices north of $1,000, but Herrings start at a more affordable $225.
The shop also offers professional shoe shines and shoe care services, should your shoes need some touching up. Opening hours for Monday through Thursday are 3:30 PM until 8:30 PM. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hours will be by appointment only, although Steve (the owner of the shop) will be there most of the time anyway. Feel free to give him a call (he’s an exceptionally nice guy). You can find Gentlemen’s Footwear contact info at their website.
