I had a wonderful time visiting Cilento, the oldest men’s shop in Naples (if not all of Italy), when I in the city last month. The shop was founded in 1780, which makes it as old as our beloved country. You can read about it in a post I wrote for StyleForum.
Pictured above, by the way, are old fabric books and artifacts from the 1910s through 1940s. Ugo Cilento, the eighth generation in the family to run the business, maintains these artifacts in the company’s private collection rooms.
