Among the many Marshall’s sale rack specials in MyHabit’s “Stripes and Beyond” tie sale (you can really feel the copywriters’ exhaustion in these titles) are a nice bunch of ties from American maker Gitman, better known for their shirts. The ties are mostly in the narrow width range of 2.75 to 3 inches, and in a number of good looking patterns and seasonal fabrics like cotton, linen, and cashmere/silk mixes. Most are priced from $35-$50, which is pretty much as good as you’ll see for U.S.-made ties in decent fabrics. (If you need an invite to MyHabit, use ours.)
