There are a bunch of great sales going on right now – some end-of-season promotions, others not. Three that I think are particularly worth a look right now:
- No Man Walks Alone: Today’s Festa della Repubblica, Italy’s national holiday celebrating when they choose to be a democratic republic after the fall of fascism. No Man Walks Alone is celebrating with a 30% off sale on all of their Italian makers (use the code FESTA). That includes Sartoria Formosa, Valstar, Eidos, Rota, Bigi, and Talarico (the last of which rarely gets discounted). You can see all the eligible items here. My favorite item is the tan gun club sport coat from Sartoria Formosa you see above. Formosa’s jackets are made with signature Neapolitan details – a soft shoulder, sweeping quarters, and minimally padded chest – but the cut is forgiving. The chest is a little fuller and the shoulders extended, which I think flatters guys a little better than strictly slim tailoring. Note, while No Man Walks Alone runs their end-of-season promotions as final sale, this one allows for free returns.
- Mr. Porter: Mr. Porter is holding their end-of-season promotion, where you can take 50% off select spring-summer items. Mr. Porter’s sales inventory is huge, so you’ll want to use the site’s filters to narrow down on your size (alternatively, you can also browse their brand list). I especially like Camoshita, Battenwear, Chimala, Inis Meain, and Drake’s. Pictured above is Eidos’ band collar shirt and suede Viberg service boots, both of which would actually be really nice for this coming fall.
- Gentlemen’s Footwear: Gentlemen’s Footwear is celebrating their four-year anniversary this week with a near storewide sale. They have a bunch of floor models on clearance from brands such as Alden and Edward Green, as well a bunch of discounted Carminas (three of which are pictured above). Deal hunters will also want to check out the stuff from Herring. At $145 per pair, this is about as good as it gets for well-made Goodyear welted shoes. You can see the entire sales list here.
Note, every Saturday, we roundup the best store sales for our Inside Track subscribers (the lists can get huge, especially this time of year). Consider signing up if you’re like to get more notices like the one above.
