Our Beloved Sponsors

A big thanks to our sponsors this month for supporting what we do. Each of them have some new things going on.

Ledbury just started a new sale today. In addition to the 50% off discounts you can find in their sale section, they’re offering an additional 20% off through August 6th with the promo code AHOY. Some of the discounted shirts include office stripes, summer checks, and even a white linen (made for the heat). With the promo code, prices go down as low as $52.

Next, The Hanger Project publishes a shoe care tutorial every Sunday in their StyleForum affiliate thread. For one of their more recent topics, they covered how to take care of suede using Saphir’s conditioning spray. Not only does the spray restore lost oils in suede, it also recolors and reserves fading. An example of what the spray can do is shown above.

Chipp Neckwear specializes in handmade, affordable neckwear – which they sell at about a third of the price of more expensive competitors. Their grenadines, for example, are made from the same Italian silks used by top-tier producers, but sell for just $55. They come in basic colors such as black and navy, as well as more unique options such as rust and sage green.

Gustin just re-released their gym bag. Made in the USA from a heavy-duty, water-repellant waxed cotton canvas, and trimmed with a full-grain leather, it’s designed for trips to the gym, office, and even travel. They’ve also dropped the price to $99.

Finally, our thanks to Proper Cloth and Private White VC. Proper Cloth is an online, made-to-measure shirt company offering many of the same fabrics as high-end bespoke shirtmakers. This week, they’re releasing a range of office-appropriate checks in smooth broadcloth and twill constructions, as well as some fun prints from Italy. Meanwhile, Private White VC is an English label specializing in outerwear, with each piece made at their own Manchester factory. With things such as weatherproof Ventile raincoats and Harris Tweed bombers, their products draw heavily from English traditions in both design and materials.
