The weather is finally starting to feel like summer. Our sponsors have some new things this season to help you look cool in the heat. A quick review while we thank them for their support.
Ledbury just released their new summer collection. Included are seersuckers, bright checks, and bold stripes in their summer-weight cottons and linens. Their shirt stylist Alex suggests the Belmont Box Check, Reid Gingham, and Nautical Jacquard, which you can match with their pants and shorts this season.
Along with shaped wooden hangers, The Hanger Project also has the largest online selection of shoe care products. For summer, you can keep those suede and nubuck shoes clean with their specialized brushes, erasers, and shampoo products. Saphir’s MDO Renovateur Suede Spray can also be used to condition suede leather and restore color. You can read more about it at The Hanger Project’s suede care guide.
Chipp has a novel offer this week. If you’ve ever wanted seersucker pants, they’re offering made-to-measure ones for $275. You can either stop by their NYC shop to be measured, provide self-measurements, or send in your best-fitting pair of trousers to have copied. Everything will be made to your specifications and produced in the USA. I’ve shot some of the swatches above, but you can contact Chipp with any questions.
For t-shirt obsessives, vintage-styled tubular knits are a nice way to get something more distinctive than your typical Hanes Beefy-T. Unfortunately, they also tend to be expensive (some running upwards of $50 per shirt). Gustin has some this week, however, for less than half the price. As usual, they’re made on a pre-order basis, which allows them to sell directly to customers at wholesale prices.
Lastly, our thanks to Proper Cloth and Private White VC. Proper Cloth just pushed out a dozen specially-designed Italian summer shirt fabrics, along with a new collection centered on their favorite color, navy. Private White VC meanwhile, is gearing up for their presentation at this month’s London Collections. If you want tickets, they invite you to contact them.
